Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college, before being drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale and Dare Ogunbowale are both 20-years old. Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. On July 7 2014 she was named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year. She was even congratulated by Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament.
